James Stash

James Anthony Stash, 67 of Streator passed away Tuesday October 26, 2021 at the OSF Center For Health, Streator.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Saturday from 10 AM until 12noon at the St. Stephen’s Cemetery Chapel.  Services will follow at 12Noon at the chapel. Burial will be in the St. Stephen’s Cemetery.

Jim was born on December 3, 1953 in Streator to John J. and Margaret (Del Genio) Stash.  He married Marcia Sked on July 2, 2005.  She survives.

Also surviving are step-children, John Yuhas of Pekin, Jason (Bridgette) Yuhas of Bloomington, Travis (Michelle) Yuhas of Elmwood and Jacob (Daisey) Yuhas of Montgomery, 10 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great grandson, brothers, Ronald Stash of Streator and Frank (Kris) Stash of Florida, sister, Sheila Orr of Streator, mother-in-law, Marion Sked of Streator and sister and brother in law, Maribeth and Ted Promenschenkel of Streator and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother John and his father-in-law Ralph Sked.

Jim attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1972, he also attended IVCC.  Jim retired from Cardinal Trucking, he enjoyed camping and was a member of the Streator Mens Bowling League.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, the American Kidney Foundation or the family of James Stash.
