Alex Steven Mainor, 19 of Streator passed away Thursday morning (July 14th) at his home.
A visitation will be held Monday from 4 - 8PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 9:30AM at St. Michael of the Archangel Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Dalton Eutsey, Timothy Dunn-Mainor, Tyler and Jonathan Trainor, Jack Clayton, Jake Negray, Michael Mitchell, and Chad Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers, Justin Knight, Zack Hert, Jim Kling Jr., Cody Black, and Joseph Grady.
Alex was born on October 29, 1991, in Streator, IL to Steven and Angela (Eutsey) Mainor.
Surviving is his daughter, Angelina of Streator, Parents of Streator, brother, Jacob Mainor of Streator, maternal grandparents, Ronald and Mona Eutsey of Streator, paternal grandparents, Billy Joe and Jean Mainor of Streator, Maternal great-grandmother, Marcella Bell of Streator , aunts, Sheri Mainor of Streator, and Shellie (Eric) Poole of Ransom, uncles, Patrick Dunn of Seneca and Corey (Laura) Eutsey of Streator, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Nicolas, uncle Ronald Dale Eutsey Jr., maternal great- grandparents, Leonard Melrose and Loretta Plain, and Dale Eustey and paternal great grandparents, Eldon and Avery Lucas, and Albert Jacobs and Millie Zimmer.
He attended Streator grade schools and Streator High School.
Alex was baptized on October 10, 2010 at the St. Peter and Paul Church in Leonore. He was employed at Trainor Flooring and was an active member and crew chief of the Trainor Racing team.
He loved cars, The Beatles, being outdoors and spending time with his family.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family of Alex Mainor.
