Andrew “Andy†R. Adamchak, 52 of Streator Illinois passed away on Sunday afternoon (August 9, 2015) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
A private family service will be held. The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Andy was born on November 14, 1962 in Streator to Andrew and Karen (Decker) Adamchak Sr.
Surviving are daughters Chelsea Adamchak of Denver, CO, Shelby Newell, his father, sisters, Julie (Richard) Lotshaw , Mary (Steve) Southey, Kelly (Ray) Durdan and brother, Joe (Traci) Adamchak all of Streator. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He is preceded in death by his mother.
Andy’s greatest times were spent with friends fishing and frying his catch of the day. He also enjoyed mushroom hunting, loved animals and spending time with his two daughters. He was loved by so many people and will be greatly missed.
Andy attended Streator Grade Schools and Streator High School. He was formerly employed at US Truck Body.
