Anna Michelle Martin

Anna Michelle Martin, 19 of Streator passed away Wednesday (October 11, 2023) in rural Streator.

Visitation will be Sunday (October 15, 2023) from 2 to 5 P.M. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday (October 16, 2023) at 11 A.M. at St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church with Monsignor Phillip Halfacre officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be her brothers Trevor Allen, Boyd Martin, Liam Martin, uncles Zoltan Medgyesi, Marc Hauser, Adam Martin, and Kyle Hauser.

Anna was born on September 19, 2004, in Streator to Craig and Katalin (Medgyesi) Martin.  They survive in Streator.  She is also survived by her siblings; Trevor (Victoria) Allen of Avon IN, Emily Martin of Streator, Boyd Martin of Tampa FL,  and Liam Martin of Streator, nephews Julian Allen and Bennett Hillebrenner, maternal grandmother Katalin “Kate” Medgyesi of Panama, paternal grandparents Matt and Naomi Hauser of Streator and William Martin of SC, uncles Zoltan Medgyesi, Norbert Szegedi, Adam (Jennifer) Martin, Cory (Ashley) Riordan, Kyle (Jenny) Hauser, Marc (Starr) Hauser and aunt Molly (Tim) Wessels and several great aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her beloved dog Lily, great-grandmother Beverly Lester, Grandmother Tonya Martin, and her great-aunt Nadine Lund.

Anna worked at the Streator Walmart in the Deli.  She attended local schools and was currently attending IVCC.

Anna loved playing with her nephews and hanging out with her friends.
