Audrey F. Glowicki

Audrey F. Glowicki, 84 of Streator passed away Thursday evening (May 23, 2019) at her home.

A visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 – 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at noon at the funeral home with cremation rites following services and burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Audrey was born on April 19, 1935 in Streator to Dillon and Audrey (Mc Cleary) Prendergast.  She married John Glowicki on May 30, 1953.  He preceded her in death on April 7, 1997.

Surviving are children John (Jeri) Glowicki of Chicago, Audrey (Gary) Wilkerson of Streator and Michael (Suzanne) Glowicki of Mt. Vernon, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, brothers Dillon (Connie) Prendergast of Corinth, TX, James Prendergast of Ottawa, Patrick (Beryl) Prendergast of Hampton, VA and Monsignor John Prendergast of Peoria and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son James, daughters Mary in infancy and Ann Brown and   grandson Daniel Glowicki.

Audrey graduated from Streator High School in 1953 and was an assistant cook at Streator High School for many years and for the last 10yrs she worked at Wilks Tavern.  She was a member of the Streator Eagles Auxiliary and Women of the Moose Lodge.
