Barbara A (Dyas) Lewis

Barbara A. Lewis 87 of Streator passed away Tuesday February 1, 2022, at 1:00 pm peacefully in her home with her family by her side.

There will be no funeral services. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Winerrowd-Hagi Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Born September 28th, 1934, in Streator. She was the daughter of Edward and Bertha (Duffy) Dyas.

She married Gerald Lewis on November 30, 1954, in Chillicothe.

She is survived by daughters Sally Chapman of Streator, Lynne (Javier) Santiesteban of Sherman, Texas,

grandchildren Royce Smith, Harley Chapman (Eddie Weber), Jeremy (Mandy) Santiesteban, Carissa (Spencer) Coy; great grandchildren, Landen Lukach, Cadence Ohmes, Haley, Vincent and Xavier Santiesteban, Riley and Savannah Coy, Isabelle and Taylor Sherwood, brother-in-law Francis Yuhas, Sister- in- laws Maxine Dyas and Ann Lewis and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald and brothers William and Donald Dyas and sister Carolynn Yuhas and great grandson Maverick Santiesteban and Sally's fiancé Matthew Cox.

Barbara worked at Owens Illinois Glass Company and retired after 34 years.

She was born and raised in Streator and graduated from Streator High School.

Barbara was well known for her love of Chickens, Sunflowers, reading books, doing puzzle books and her collection of over 300 watches.
