Barbara A. Rogers

Barbara A. Rogers, 68 of Streator passed away peacefully Thursday morning (January 16, 2020) at the Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Care Center.

Following cremation a visitation will be held Tuesday (Jan. 21, 2020) from 4 – 6 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Services will be held Tuesday at 6 PM at the funeral home.

Barbara was born on June 4, 1951 in Streator to John E. and Irene Grace (Eichelberger) Shull.

Surviving are children Marion Jones Jr of Chicago, Kimberly (Ron Kiefer) Smith of Dana and John (Karen) Rogers of Spring Valley, eight grandchildren, sisters Jane (Richard) Bale, Linda (Neal) Finley and Martha Perry all of Bloomington and her former husband Marion Jones Sr of Wyoming, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, six children in infancy and 3 sisters.

Barbara attended Streator Grade Schools and Streator High School.  While living in Chicago she was a dietician and CNA and she was a volunteer for the Streator Salvation Army.  Barbara was a member of the Home League of the Salvation Army and a Sunbeam Leader.  She attended the Streator Salvation Army Citadel and the New Beginning Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Streator Salvation Army or the New Beginnings Baptist Church.
