Bessie Catron

Bessie Ann Catron, 76 of Streator passed away Sunday morning (October 3, 2021) at her home.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Thursday from 3:30 – 4:30 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Memorial services will be held Thursday at 4:30 PM at the funeral home.

Bessie was born on September 3, 1945 in Hartford County, Maryland to Albert and Natalee (Ham) Doll.  She married Roy Catron on November 1, 1963.  He preceded her in death on January 18, 2015.

Surviving are children; Terry Lebo of Streator, David Catron of Streator, Albert Catron of Maryland, Carol Gray of Maryland and Robert Catron of Streator, 5 grandchildren; Susie Proof, Amanda Dembo, Tiffany Catron, Michael and Michelle Lebo, 19 great-grandchildren, brothers, John Doll of Pennsylvania, Jimmy Doll of Maryland, Frank Doll of Pennsylvania and a sister, Mona Doll of Maryland.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy and a granddaughter Megan Catron.

Bessie was affiliated with the Grace Community Church, Streator.
