Betty L. Marvin, 87 of Grand Ridge passed away Sunday morning (Jun 24th) at Rivershores Care Center, Marseilles.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 - 6PM at the Grand Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 6PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Grand Ridge Cemetery.
Betty was born on May 7, 1925 in Huntington W. VA to Earl and Elizabeth (Duke) Fullerton. She married Eldon Marvin on May 4, 1958 and he survives.
Also surviving is a son David (Jennifer) Marvin of Grand Ridge, 3 grandchildren, Taylor, Haydon and Noah Marvin, a brother Marvin Allen of FL, sisters JoAnn Forster of FL and Norma Aldridge of Huntington W. VA.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons Randy Lee in infancy and Michael, brother Earl Fullerton, sisters Patty Allen and Carolyn Jordan.
She served in the US Navy, was employed at the TB Sanitarium in Peoria and Ottawa and retired from the LaSalle County Health Dept. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Streator.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donors' choice
