Betty J. Stash

Betty J. Stash, 84 of Streator passed away Sunday (March 12, 2023) at her home.

A visitation will be held Thursday (March 23^rd) from 4 – 6 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 6PM at the funeral home.

Betty was born on August 11, 1938, in Streator to Glen and Pricilla (Tapley) Ator.

Surviving are daughters Kathy (Jim Sterling) Stash and Sherry Jordan both of Streator, grandchildren; Jerome, Joseph, Jeremy, Joshua and Jenna, 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren, sisters, Patricia (Gary) Van Buren of Goshen, IN, and Sandra Reithinger of Union, NJ, half siblings, Greg, Marlene, Charlene, Pamela, Beth Ann, Judy and Christine, sister-in-law Cathy Ator of Prairie Valley, KS and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Jared, brother Robert Ator.

Betty attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School.  She was formerly employed at Dr’s Coveny Dental and Dr Beagle’s Dental office for over 40 years.

The family would like to thank OSF Hospice, Pat Duffield and her personal care giver Jane Kennedy.
