Betty L. Walker

Betty L. (Papenburg) Walker, 74 of Sauk Village, IL and formerly of Blackstone passed away August 24, 2023, at her home.

Graveside services will be held Monday (September 18^th) at 11 AM at the Blackstone Cemetery.

Betty was born on January 3, 1949, in Streator to Clarence and Helen (Broderson) Papenburg.  She married Dale Walker on June 24, 1972.  He preceded her in death on January 31, 2016.

Surviving is a daughter Amanda Walker of Sauk Village, brother Clarence (Pam) Papenburg of Blackstone and 2 nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Dale.

Betty graduated from Woodland School in 1967 and retired from R.R. Donnelly in Dwight.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
