Bonnie L. Stinar, 76 of Streator and formerly of Deer Park, TX passed away Friday (Sept. 16, 2011) at St. Mary's Hospital.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-7PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Bonnie was born on July 20, 1935 in Streator to William and Reba (Gwaltney) Burkett.
She married James Stinar on April 1955 in Hernando, Mississippi. He passed away September 2006 in Deer Park, TX.
Surviving are daughters, Mollye Sue (Ron) Trainor, and Dee (Manuel) Hernandez, both of Streator, sons, James (Sherry) Stinar, Jr. of Flanagan, and Larry (Darcee) Stinar of Huntersville, SC, 10 grandchildren, Christy (Shane) Sunken, Brian (Amber) Trainor, Abbie, Gabriel, Alex, and Martin Hernandez, Stacy (Scott) Nutgrass, Ryan (Cynthia) Stinar, Bethany, Lindsey, and Jessica Stinar, 7 great-grandchildren, and brother, Eldon (Wilma) Burkett of Streator.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Richard William Stinar in infancy, and brother and sister-in law, William "Bud" (Christine) Burkett.
Bonnie graduated from Streator High School in 1953.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
