Carolyn L. Lucus

Carolyn L. Lucus, 88 of Cornell passed away Wednesday (November 17, 2021) at OSF St. James Hospital, Pontiac.

Private family services will be held with burial in the Long Point Cemetery. Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Carolyn was born on October 31, 1933 in Kings, IL to Jay and Elizabeth (Engelces) Mowers. She married Lawrence Lucus on March 21, 1951. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1995.
Surviving are sons, Marion (Heidi) Lucus of Germany and Jeff (Brenda) Lucus of Blackstone, daughters, Elizabeth (Delmar) Marcum of Lebanon, MO and Cindy (William) Pfalzgraf of LaSalle, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a sister Doris Carlson of Magnolia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother Francis.
Carolyn attended Wenona High School and retired from Fox Center in Dwight. She enjoyed gardening.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
