Catherine A. Gulvas

Catherine A. Gulvas, 86 of Streator passed away Sunday (Sept. 20th) at St. Mary's Hospital
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:30 - 11:30AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with the rosary recited at 9:15. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Dale, Scott and Holly Perry, Shane Cox, Mark Burash, Gary Wargo.
Born December 22, 1922 in Streator, IL to Steve and Mary (Kraplyn) Bernard. She married Edward Gulvas on June 2, 1944 he passed away October 21, 2007.
Surviving are, Daughters, Mary (Mike) Heydt of Englewood, CO and Nancy (Dale) Perry of Streator
2 grandchildren, Scott Perry and Mary Beth Heydt , 1 great-granddaughter, Holly Perry.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Koskovich
She was formerly employed at St. Mary's Hospital in Housekeeping, member of St. Stephen's Church and attended St. Stephen's Grade School.
