Charles "Chuck" J. Hjerpe, Sr, 62, of Streator passed away Sunday afternoon (May 20th) at his home.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30AM-11:30AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30AM at the funeral home.
Chuck was born on October 18, 1949 in Streator to John "Jack" and Mildred (Tapley) Hjerpe.
He married Sherry Jordan. She survives.
He is survived by his mother Mildred Mahaffey of Canyon, TX, sons, Luke Hjerpe of Streator, Charles (Sheri) Hjerpe, Jr. of Joliet, Tim (Kristin) Hjerpe of Streator, Dave and Sam Hjerpe both of Streator, 4 grandchildren, Nicholas, Collin, Blake, and Anna, brothers, Bruce Hjerpe of Streator, and Paul Hjerpe of Canyon, TX sisters, Mary Sena of Wasilla, Alaska, Roseanne Garcia of Bloomington, and Suzanne Younker of Streator.
Chuck is preceded in death by his father, brothers Jack, Richard, Edward and Gerald Hjerpe.
He attended St. Mary's Grade School and Streator High School.
Memorials may be directed to the family of Chuck Hjerpe.
