Christine E. Vidergar

Christine E. (Melrose) Vidergar, 53 of Streator passed away Tuesday evening (Jan. 1st, 2013) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-7PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Christine was born on September 25, 1959 in Streator, IL to Leonard and Lorretta (Bailey) Melrose.
She married Kevin Vidergar on November 19, 1977.  He survives.  
Also surviving are sons, Jeremy (Rose) Vidergar of Kangley, and Jesse Vidergar of Streator, grandson, Dale Vidergar of Streator, siblings, Gloria (Ken) North of Manville, Jonni (Dan) Schlicker of Pontiac, IL, Don (Lauren) Melrose of Streator, Sandy (Glen) Baker of Streator, Carol “JoJo” (Dave) Antolik of Pontiac, Spencer Melrose of Streator, Virginia Phillips of Pontiac, Mona Eutsey of Streator, Terry Melrose of Streator, Dale (Sue) Melrose of Streator, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Stan Phillips.  
Christine attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1977 and was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.
