Connie Sue Platt

Connie Sue Platt, 77 of Streator passed away Friday (May 7, 2021) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Saturday from 12 Noon – 2 p.m. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Abraham Lincoln Nation al Cemetery, Elwood.

Connie was born on November 23, 1943 in Frankfort, IN to Wayne and Josephine (Bolinger) Butler.  She married Larry E. Platt on September 28, 1967.  He preceded her in death on February 26, 2014.

Surviving are children, Peggy Gray and Lisa Platt both of Indiana, Wayne Platt and Kimberly (Kevin) Robertson both of Streator and Timmy (Carrie) Platt of Ottawa, 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, brother Jerry Butler and sister Marilyn Butler both of Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, step-father Paul Snell and a grandson Kurtous Robertson.

Connie attended school in Indiana.  She was a member of the Ottawa American Legion, VFW Auxiliary and the Streator Eagles Club.  Connie retired from Krogers in Ottawa.
