Curtis L. Kramer 88, of Streator passed away Monday morning (Aug. 15th) at St. Mary's Hospital.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 9-11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11AM at the funeral home.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery with flag folding ceremonies conducted by the Streator American Legion and the Streator VFW.
Curtis was born on November 11, 1922 in Oakville, Iowa to Albert and Mary (Wonders) Kramer.
He married Bernadette Kaschak on February 28, 1946. She passed away November 7, 2008.
Surviving is brother, Neal (Faye) Kramer of Ottawa, sisters, Arlene Phillips of Lakeland, FL, and Mary Lou Oelschlager of Streator, many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Patricia Cogdal.
He was preceded in death by his wife, and sister, Janet Overocker.
Curtis graduated from Oakville High School and was a member of the former St. Stephen's Church.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired as a custodian from Woodland School in 1985.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Cardiac Rehabilitation Center.
