Dale A. Dille

Dale A. Dille, 74 of Rural Ottawa passed away peacefully Wednesday morning (June 6^th) at his home with his family at his side.

A private family visitation will be held Saturday from 1 – 3 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Eulogies will be given following visitation and burial will be in the Grand Ridge Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons Christopher Dewey, Jesse Dille, Kerrigan Katrein, Austin Dille, Jared Hamalle, son-in-law, Jeremy Hamalle.  Honorary will be Jonathan “Jack” Hamalle, Liam Nelson and Noah Cowan.

Dale was born on January 18, 1944 in Streator to Robert W. and Elizabeth (Seaman) Dille.  He married Suzanne Graham on February 3, 1962.  She preceded him in death on December 22, 1999.

Surviving are children Janet (Joel) Dewey of Bloomington, Robert Dille of Grand Ridge, Kevin (Kelly Katrein) Dille of Grand Ridge and Karen (Jeremy Hamalle) Dille of Peru, 12 grandchildren, Christopher and Megan Dewey, Danielle Dille, Taylor (Brandon) Safranek, Tiffany and Jesse Dille, Amber and Kerrigan Katrein, Austin Dille, Jared, Kaelyn and Jonathan “Jack” Hamalle, 5 great-grandchildren Dahlila, Liam, Arya, Mia and Noah, loving companion Sharon Shuett of rural Ottawa, sisters Kathy (Mike) McGinnis of Aurora, Jane (David) Smith of Herscher and Susan Calhoun of Ottawa.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and a son Bryan in infancy.

Dale retired from farming and Calkins Trucking.
