Dale Christian Koetz

Dale Christian Koetz, 74 of Grand Ridge, IL
passed away Friday Sept. 11th
at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4 - 7PM at the Grand Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10AM at the Grand Ridge United Methodist Church w/ Rev. Lon Alderman officiating. Burial will be in Grand Rapids Cemetery, Grand Ridge w/ full military honors conducted by members of the Streator VFW and American Legion. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew and Andrew Mueller, David and Russell Koetz, Jim Fox, Todd Campbell and Ralph Schobert.
Born December 24, 1934 in Grand Ridge, IL to William and Carrie (Jones) Koetz. Married Muriel Rees on June 8, 1958, she survives.
Also surviving are, Daughter, Camala (Joseph) Mueller of Wells, Minnesota, Son, Jeffrey Koetz of Grand Ridge, 9 Grandchildren, Matthew (Abbie) Mueller, Andrew, MaryErin, Kathleen, JoEllen, Susannah and Rachel Mueller, Abigial Elizabeth, Emma Rose Koetz. Brother, David (Donna) Koetz of Lockport, Sisters, Betty Campbell of Manville and Helen Ordman of Homer Glen
He is preceded in death by his parents, Brother, Gerald Koetz and Sister, Dorothy Schobert
He served in the National Guard. Member of the LaSalle County Farm Bureau, United Food and Commerical Workers International, Grand Ridge United Methodist Church. He retired as a Meat Cutter and graduated from Streator High School in 1953.
