Daniel H. Peek

Daniel H. Peek, 60 of Wenona passed away Sunday evening (February 14^th) at his home.

A visitation will be held Friday from 2 – 5 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home, Streator.  There will be no funeral services.  Cremation rites will follow the visitation.

Daniel was born on July 2, 1955 in Ottawa to Howard and June (Wallace) Peek Sr.  He married Joan Bridgeforth on July 20, 1979, she survives.

Also surviving are children, David (Susan) Arndt of Dana, Steven (Christine) Peek of Rutland, Joseph Peek of Wenona, Traci (Richard) Stevens of Streator and Jennifer Hays of Wenona, 21 grandchildren including Jacob and Jaida Peek and Seth Hays whom he raised, 1 step-great-grandson Blake, brothers Howard Peek Jr of Streator and David Peek of Pontiac.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter Diamond Peek.

Daniel attended Grand Ridge Grade School and Streator High School and entered the US Navy in 1974 until 1977.  He was formerly employed with Streator Dependable until his illness.
