David "Rabbit" A. Irving

David “Rabbit” A.  Irving, 72 of Streator passed away Monday afternoon (August 15^th) at the Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson.

A visitation will be held Thursday from 1- 2 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery w/ military honors conducted by members of the Streator American Legion and VFW.

David was born on June 25, 1944 in Streator to William and Eva (Harlacher) Irving.

He is survived by niece Monica (David) Mc Daniel of Robinson, IL, great-nephews, Justin (Michelle) and Jared (Bailey) Mc Daniel.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Craig.

David graduated from Streator High School in 1963 and served in the US Army during Vietnam.  He retired from Thatcher Glass and was former owner of Rabbits Tap in South Streator.  He was a member of the Central Church of Christ and was a life member of the Streator VFW.
