David J. Rodrick

David J. Rodrick, 66 of Streator passed away Wednesday evening (February 15, 2023) at Heritage Health, Streator.

A visitation will be held Monday from 10am until 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at noon at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Emery Green Cemetery.

David was born on September 18, 1956, in Streator to Cecil and Elinor (Leslie) Rodrick.

Surviving are sisters Margie (Joe) Bellis of Streator and Barbara (Robert Eslinger) Lopez of Marseilles, brother Phillip (Julie) Rodrick of Springfield, Richard Rodrick of Taylorville and Randall Rodrick of Streator, half brothers, Bill (Jenny) Rodrick of Leonore and Edward (Bridgette) Rodrick of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Joel Holcomb and a sister Linda Rodrick half-brothers, Cecil, Tom and Jim Rodrick.

David attended Wilson grade school and Woodland High School.  He served in the US Army and attended Central Church of Christ.

Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
