Dawn Louise Bauer

Dawn Louise Bauer, 51, of LeRoy passed away at 8:05 A.M. Tuesday April 9, 2019 at OSF St. Joseph Hospital, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 pm Saturday April 13 at Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home, Streator, IL. Memorial service will follow at 12:00 also at funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Matthew Bauer for his continued college education or LeRoy Emergency Ambulance Service. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce LeRoy is in charge of arrangements

Dawn was born April 21, 1967 in Spring Valley, IL a daughter of Donald and Blanche Story Dominic. Her father preceded her in death.

Surviving are: son Matthew Bauer - LeRoy; mother Blanche (James) Naughton - Grand Ridge, IL; brother Kevin Naughton - Grand Ridge, IL; sister Debra (Tony) Cargola - Hinckley, IL; step sister Denise (Richard) Ribordy - Odell, IL, nieces, Kennedy Cargola, Susan Marlowe, Karen Ribordy and Audra Biggs, nephews, Clay and Mason Cargola, special friend Ron Beatty and many cousins.

Dawn was a graduate of Ottawa High School, Illinois Valley Community College, and Illinois State University. She was a high school math teacher in Litchfield and Normal, IL. She loved to scrapbook and travel. Dawn was also an avid sport shooter and member of the Foosland Gun Club. She was very outgoing and social, never meeting a stranger.

Dawn was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and devoted friend who will be deeply missed.
