Dawn Michele (Bergeson) Hall, 53 of Bloomington and formerly of Ransom passed away Jan 5, 2024, because of a multi-vehicle accident.
There will be a Memorial Celebration of Life service on Sunday April 7th at the Ransom United Methodist Church at 1 PM.
Dawn was born on October 10, 1970, in Ottawa, IL to Dennis and Diana (Ganz) Bergeson.
She married Scott Hall of Bloomington on July 2, 2005.
She is survived by her husband Scott, two sons; Ian and Nick all of Bloomington, her bonus sons; Jacob (Sierra) Hall of Japan and Josh Hall of Madison WI, her parents; Dennis and Diana Bergeson of Ransom, two sisters; Paula (John) Quinn of Ballinamore, Ireland and Pam (John) Dunham of Streator. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Barbara Hall of Lockport and many brother-in laws, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Dawn attended Ransom grade school, Streator Township High School with the class of 1988, Illinois Valley Community College, and Illinois State University. She also was a licensed beautician throughout her life. She was employed by State Farm Insurance Company for 27 years.
Dawn was truly a remarkable woman, whether it was from taking care of her family, her friends, the greenhouse in Marseilles or through her talented baking she will be forever missed. One will have to search long and hard to find someone who did not smile the first time they met her. Her infectious positive, smiling personality is what people will remember most about her.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in her name to the Promise Council at www.promisecouncil.org5 or to the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA).
Dawn was interned in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington on January 13, 2024.
