Deborah J. Johnson

Deborah J. Johnson, 65 of Streator passed away Thursday (October 26^th) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 – 12 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons Danny and Ryley Taylor, nieces Amy Ragusa, Jessi Ragusa and Meagan Funderberg and nephew Cody Ragusa.

Deborah was born on October 30, 1951 in Streator to Tony and Gertrude (Hughs) Ragusa.  She married Donald Johnson on December 5, 1991.  He preceded her in death on May 1, 2013.

Surviving is a son James Taylor of Streator, grandsons Danny and Ryley Taylor, 4 great-grandchildren, brother Chuck (Kathy) Ragusa of Streator, half brother John Rein of Chicago and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Eric Taylor, granddaughter Jenni Taylor, brothers Rick and Frank .

Deborah attended Streator Grade Schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1969.  She retired from managing the Streator Manor Apartments Community.
