Denise Lynn Flanery

Denise Lynn Flanery, 54 of Streator passed away Thursday evening (October 29^th) at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, Melrose Park.

A visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 – 7 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Services will be held at 7 pm at the funeral home.  Cremation rites will follow services with burial in Riverview Cemetery.

Denise was born on August 31, 1961 in Streator to Sterling and Barbara (LaVelle) Flanery Sr.

She is survived by children, Shane (Sandra Albarran) Crawford of Streator, Troy (Tiffany) Smith of Streator, Cody and Dallas Hillier of Saunemin, Doug Burdick of Villa Park and Sarah Carpenter of Streator, 7 grandchildren, long time companion Tim Carpenter of Streator, brothers; Sterling Flanery Jr of Schaumburg and Tom Flanery of Ottawa, sisters; Debra (Bob) Hillier of Saunemin, Lisa (Jeff Christoffers) Thacker of Seneca and Lori (Michael) Ocull of SD and several nieces and nephews.

Denise is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Michael.

She attended Streator High School and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
