Donald Henderson, 76 of Streator passed away Wednesday (Sept. 3) at his home.
A visitation will be held Monday from 2-5PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 5PM at the funeral home with Deacon Michael An officiating of OSF Home Care Services.
Cremation rites will follow services. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
Donald was born on March 19, 1938 in Owensboro, KY to Will and Maude (Davis) Henderson.
He married Arlene Eichelberger on June 7, 1971. She survives.
Also surviving are children, Loretta, Mary Ann, Mark, Perry and Gary all of KY, Nancy Carnduff, Elizabeth Henderson and Adam Henderson all of Streator and Christine (Steven) Peek of Lostant, brothers, Roy (Shirley) Henderson of Bradford, Laddy Henderson of KY, sisters,Lois Gearinger, Freda D., and Juanita Henderson all of Louisville, KY, 11 grandchildren including Stormy, Cheyenne and Deven Peek and 2 great-grandchildren.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
He helped farm with a local farmer for many years.
Donald was an avid fisherman and gardener.
