Donald Dean Snow, 68 of West Brooklyn and formerly of Streator passed away Tuesday evening (July 16, 2019) at OSF St. James Hospital, Pontiac.
Following cremation, a celebration of Life will be held Saturday (August 10th) from 2 – 5 PM at the 3’s Company in West Brooklyn. Burial will be in the Lostlands Cemetery, Eagle Twp. at a later date. The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Don was born on July 18, 1950 in Streator to Norris and Peg (Flanigan) Snow.
Surviving are his parents Norris and Peg Snow of Streator, brothers Daniel (Mary Beth) Snow of Streator and Kevin (Denise) Snow of Streator, sisters Connie (John) Henkel of Streator and Judy (Phil) Verchimak of Streator, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts and cousins.
He is preceded in death by a brother Terry, paternal grandparents Ernie and Hazel Snow, maternal grandparents Edward and Hannah Flanigan.
Don graduated from Woodland High School in 1970. He served in the US Army and retired from truck driving. He was a member of the American Legion. Don enjoyed taking his yearly trip to Missouri for deer hunting and fishing.
Memorials may be made to his family to be decided for an organization.
