Donalda “Nellie†Rae Mauk, 63 of Streator passed away Friday evening (May 9th) at Heritage Health.
Following cremation a graveside service will be held Friday at 11AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Nellie was born on October 25, 1950 in Drayton, ND to Donald and Mary Lou (Larson) McDermaid.
She is survived by children Terrence Cox Jr., Matthew Cox, Donald (Christine) Cox, Tammy Mauk, Michael Mauk Jr. and Nathan Mauk all of Streator, 18 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters Henretta Carnduff, Barbara Martin and Thressia Janke all of Streator and several nieces and nephews.
Nellie is preceded in death by her parents, brother Ole McDermaid.
She was formerly employed at Family Dollar, Streator Unlimited and Knox Estates for many years.
Nellie attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1969 and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Memorials may be made to the family of Nellie Mauk.
