Doris M. Grant, 77 of Streator passed away Thursday afternoon (April 28th) at St. Mary's Hospital.
A visitation will be held on Monday from 10:30AM until 11:30AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Doris was born on February 9, 1934 in Streator, IL to Michael and Theresa (Mootz) Mallick.
She married Harold Grant on August 11, 1956. He survives.
Also surviving are sisters, Theresa Zito and Joan Kimes both of Streator, Carol Wargo of FL, and Betty (Zane) Bixby of Salt Lake City, UT, and several nieces and nephews, including niece Joann Kimes of Streator.
She was preceded in death by her son, Edward James Grant, brothers, Robert and Richard Mallick, and George in infancy and a sister in infancy, Celestine.
Doris was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and graduated from St. Mary's Grade School.
She was formerly employed as a clerk at GC Murphy's, PHE Cargill and Mycogen Seed as a seed sorter and a homemaker.
Doris loved to work in her flower garden.
