Doris "Ann" Putman

Doris “Ann†Putman, 71, of Elgin and formerly of Streator passed away Thursday morning (Dec. 5th, 2013) at her home.
A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-8PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home, Streator, IL.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator, IL.
Honorary pallbearer will be grandson Jarrod. Pallbearers will be sons, Brian and Jim, Jr. Putman brothers, Jeff and Basil Davis and grandsons, David and Shane Putman.
Doris was born on September 18, 1942 in Streator, IL to Basil “Red†Davis and Alethea (Allen) Davis.
She married James Putman on May 5, 1963. He survives.
Also surviving are sons, James (Shea) Putman, Jr. of Crystal Lake, IL and Brian (Shelly) Putman of Streator, 7 grandchildren, Tom and David Putman, Samantha (Steve) Davis, Jamie, Sarah, Shane Putman and Jarrod and 5 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Madison, Isabella, Emmalynn, Payton and one due in February, sisters, Marion Craggs of Bath, IL, Jeanet Murray of Streator, Sharon (William) Leonard of Streator and Bonnie (Greg) Highland of LaSalle, and brothers Jeffrey (Terri) Davis of Streator, and Basil Davis, Jr. of Elgin and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Paula Boatman.
Doris attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1961. She is of the Methodist Church and retired from Motorola in Schaumburg.
