Dorothy J. Wargo, 73 of Streator passed away Friday (April 1st) at OSF St. Joseph Hospital in Bloomington.
A visitation will be held Monday from 4-7PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:30AM at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael and Jason Clark, Steve and Travis Yurich, Don Cox, and Larry Quick. Honorary pallbearers include Joshua Quick, Steven Yurich Jr., Katie and Hannah Cox and Anthony Clark.
Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
Dorothy was born March 24, 1938 in Granville, IL to Joseph and Rosemary (Bernandoni) Postulka.
She married Norman Wargo on June 14, 1959. He survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Cynthia Ann Yurich of Streator, Rose (Michael) Clark of Streator, Christine (Don) Cox of Streator, and Sandra (Larry) Quick of Long Point, seven grandchildren, eight great-grand-children, and a sister Sandra (Bob) Bronson of Hansville, AL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Norman L. Wargo, Brother, Joseph, sister in infancy, and grandchild in infancy.
She attended rural schools in Putnam County.
Dorothy formerly drove a school bus for Woodland School. She was a member of St. Stephen's Church, the E.S.D.A. and CBers Club.
