Dottie Lee Patton

Dottie L. Patton, 87 of Streator passed away Thursday morning (March 6, 2025) at OSF St. Anthony’s Medical Center, Rockford.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with funeral services following at 6 p.m. Burial will be in the Dana Cemetery at a later date.

Dottie was born on August 28, 1937, in Dana to Thurston “TR” and Alta (Huxtable) Fryman. She married Edward Patton on March 19, 1969. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2016.

Surviving are daughters, Terri (Kevin) Reeves of Washburn, Tona Iverson of Benson and Tracey Sauer of Streator, grandchildren, Jeremy, Nicholas and Michael Teegardin, Dustin and Brian “Opie” Iverson, Houston and Madison (Sauer) Meyer, 10 great grandchildren, brother, T.R. “Dusty” Fryman of El Paso and sister, Linda Kearfott of El Paso.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward, son in law SGT 1st Class Steven Iverson, and sister Joyce Bednar.

Dottie attended Dana Grade School and graduated from M.D.R. high School in 1955. She was a member of the former St. Anthony’s Church and currently St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church and Streator Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. Dottie retired from Owens Illinois Glass in 1995.
