Douglas P. Hamilton Sr. 45, of Streator passed away Friday morning (Nov. 18th) at St. Mary's Hospital.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10AM until 1PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1PM at the funeral home. Following services cremation rites will be accorded with burial in the Floral HillCemetery in Neponset, IL.
Doug was born on November 6, 1966 in Kewanee to James and Pamela (Holsclaw) Stranigan. He graduated from Kewanee High School in 1985 and he enjoyed motorcycling and spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
He married Leann Carpenter on Dec. 19, 1996, she survives. Also surviving are children Allisha Carpenter of Streator, Ashley Ojeda (Sean) Engel of Ottawa, Pamela and Douglas Hamilton Jr. of Streator, grandchildren Talen Thomson and Chase Flanery, brothers Rick (Angela) Hamilton of Buda, James Earl Hamilton of Kewanee, grandmother Elaine Holsclaw of Buda and several nieces and nephews.
Doug is preceded in death by his mother and grandfather Gale Holsclaw.
Memorials may be directed to the family of Douglas Hamilton Sr.
