Passed away Saturday (June 20th) at Baxter Regional Medical Center, Mountain Home, Arkansas
Visitation will be Wednesday (June 24th)
from 4 - 8PM at Winterrowd Funeral Home
Services will be Thursday (June 25) at 10 AM the Funeral Home
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park w/ Flag folding ceremonies being conducted by the Streator American Legion and Streator VFW.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Flectcher, J.C. and Mike Darling, Jim Kotansky, Greg McCallister, and Tom Alberts.
Born August 19, 1938 in Streator,IL to Vernon G. and Henrietta J. (Harlacher) Bailey
Married Susan Wiborg on March 6, 1965, she survives, also surviving are 2 sons, Edward Eugene Bailey Jr. of Ottawa, Mark Bailey of Midway, Arkansas, 2 Daughters, Dawn (Rick) Thompson of Beebe, Arkansas, and Laura (Jim) Kotansky of Rushville, IL, Brothers, Vernon (JoAnn) and Richard Bailey , Streator, 3 Sisters, Phyllis Eplin of Streator, Tina Smith of San Antino, TX, and Diana (Dwain) Heffernon of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and 8 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Louise in infancy.
He served in the National Guard.
He retired from Streator High School.
He was a member of The First Assembly of God Church, Streator.
