Edward E. Missel Jr

Edward E. Missel Jr., 72 of Streator passed away Wednesday (January 6, 2021) at Heritage Health, Streator

Graveside services will be held Saturday (Jan. 16th)  11 AM at Riverview Cemetery with military honors conducted by members of the Streator American Legion and VFW.  The Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Honorary pallbearers will be his sister Diane Deboor and brothers Dan and Larry Missel.

Ed was born on August 23, 1948 in Streator to Edward E. and Dolores (Badgett) Missel Sr.

Surviving are siblings; sister, Diane (Kevin) Deboor of Naples, FL, brothers, Dan (Theresa) Missel and Larry (Kathy) Missel both of Streator, 7 nieces and nephews, 13 great-nieces and nephews and 1 great-great nephew.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James and David and his beloved dog Scrappy.

Ed attended Streator Grade Schools and graduated from Streator High School.  He served in the US Navy.  Ed retired from Owens Illinois Glass and enjoyed cooking, watching sports and was a diehard Raiders and Dodgers Fan.  He loved watching old and new movies.
