Elsie Marie Edwards

Elsie M. Edwards, 82 of Streator passed away Monday (September 25, 2023) at the ARC in Streator.

Per her request there will be no services, cremation rites will be accorded.

Elsie was born on February 13, 1941, in Harrisburg, IL to Clarence and Myrtle (Wadley) Dunning.  She married Robert Edwards on December 29, 1960.  He preceded her in death in June of 2005.

Surviving are daughters, Dianna (Robert) Sullivan of Odell and Theresa (Richard) Mardino of New York, son John (Dawn Koch) Edwards of Mayfield, KY, 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Robert “Mick” Edwards, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

She enjoyed reading and playing bingo.

Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
