Evelyn Mae Rush

Evelyn M. Rush, 88 of Streator passed away Sunday evening (April 26th) at Heritage Health and Rehabilitation Center in Streator.  
A visitation will be held on Friday from 9-11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator.
Evelyn was born on January 26, 1927 in Streator to Louis and Katherine (Park) Osterman.
She married Charles Rush on January 1, 1945.  He passed away December 7, 1989.
Surviving is daughter, Kathy (Vince) Magana of Streator, son, Mike Rush of Rochelle, IL, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 due in June, sisters, Norma Lou (Leslie) Scarce of OK, Helen (Dr. Edward) Woods of MI, Donna (Max) Schramm of FL, Marilyn (James) Horton of FL and brother, Walter Osterman of London Mills, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter, Diane Sherman and Judith in infancy, son, Eddie Rush, grandson, Joshua Rush, granddaughters, Melinda Elliott and Andrea Coffey, daughter-in-law, Linda (Hallam) Rush and sister, Bernadine Seggerman.
She attended Flanagan grade school.  Evelyn was a member of Central Church of Christ and a former member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Evelyn retired from Thatcher Glass in 1989.  She baked pies for her husband’s restaurant, Chucks Four  Corners Restaurant for 12 years.
