Florence P. Cave

Florence P. Cave, 90 of Grand Ridge, passed away Friday morning (Dec. 4) at her home.

Visitation will be Monday from 4-7PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home and also from 10-11AM Tuesday at the Central Church of Christ.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11AM at the Central Church of Christ.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator.

Serving as Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Angie Weber, Adam, Andrew, Jessica, and Justin Cave and her 2 brothers, Gale and James DeMoss.

Born, August 14, 1919 in Streator.

Parents, Clarence and Laura (Madison) DeMoss.

Married, Roy Cave on February 2, 1940. He passed away July 10, 2008.

Surviving are, 2 Daughters, Shirley (Robert) Knickerbocker , Streator, Donna (Jerry)Fleming, Ottawa, Jerry (Julie) Cave, Grand Ridge, 5 Grandchildren, Angie (Dave) Weber, Adam, Andrew, Jessica and Justin Cave, 2 Brothers, Gale (Eloise) DeMoss, Streator, James DeMoss, and Sister, Judy Moore, Marseilles, and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Step-Mother, Blanche Martin Demoss, son, Roy Cave Jr., Brothers Lester and Charles DeMoss and Sister Emma Schafer.She retired from LaSalle County Nursing Home as a nurses aid. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of Central Church of Christ, member of Win-A-Couple, and Member of The Young of Hearts Group.

Memorials may be directed to the Central Church of Christ or the Grand Ridge Fire Department.
