Frances L. Dignan, 76 of Streator passed away Saturday morning (July 13th) at Parker Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Streator.
A visitation will be held Tuesday from 12Noon until 2PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Murphy Jr., Ken Murphy, Mike Burkett, Toby Russow, Tyler Miller and John Davis Jr.
Frances was born on July 20, 1936 in Chicago to Chester and Velma (Allen) Pulliam. She married James Dignan on September 5, 1953 and he passed away on September 18, 2009.
Surviving are children Cheryl (Terry) Murphy of Manville, Susanne Quaka of Streator, Jamey Dignan of Streator, 5 grandchildren, Ken and Terry Murphy Jr., Melissa Stemas, Amanda Davis and Devin Dignan, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
She is preceded death by her parents, husband and 1 great-grandson.
Frances attended Streator High School and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors’ choice.
