Frank W. Kimpling

Frank “Bill†W. Kimpling, 88 of Pontiac and formerly of Urbana passed away Wednesday (Jan. 23, 2013) at OSF St. James Medical Center in Pontiac.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday (Feb. 2nd) from 9-11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Long Point Cemetery.
Frank was born on June 8, 1934 in Metamora, IL to Frank and Amanda Bernice Bennington.
He married M. Ilene Ayers on December 22, 1951. She passed away July 6, 2006.
Surviving is brother, Sam (Sandi) Kimpling of Streator, sisters, Carol (Robert) Kiminke of Ancona, Margaret Murray of Streator, and Alyce (John) McFadden of West Union, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Nancy Helen Maxwell, and brother Mervin Dale in infancy.
He is of the Christian faith and attended Grade School and graduated from High School in
Frank was an engineer in WWII. He was a civil service instructor at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, IL.
