Frank E. Majercin, Sr, 79 of Streator passed away Wednesday (June 20th) at Heritage Health: Therapy and Senior Care, Streator.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30-11:30AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be held Monday at 11:30AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Frank was born on November 18, 1932 in Streator, IL to Frank E. and Catherine (Benstine) Majercin.
He married Betty Blue in 1973. She survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Kathy (Mike) Weishan of Arizona, step-children, Jackie (Leonard) Reeland, JoAnn Trotter, and Robert Trotter all of Streator, and Shelly (David) Sunnen of Manville, granddaughter, Jenny (Brian) Moyer of AZ, 10 step-grandchildren, and 12 step-great-grandchildren, brother, Roger Majercin of Toluca and sister Lorretta Fuller of New York.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Frank Majercin, Jr. and sister, Evelyn Danko.
Frank attended St. Stephen's grade school and Streator High school. He retired from Anchor Glass in the CMR department after 49 years.
He was a member of the Streator PNA, Streator Elks Lodge and St. Michael the Archangel Church.
Frank was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
