Gary Lee Shepard, Sr.

Gary “Duke†Shepard, Sr. 63 of Streator passed away Sunday (Jan.5th) at his home.
A visitation will be held on Saturday from 12Noon until 3PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 3PM at the funeral home.
Cremation will follow services.
Gary was born on November 18, 1950 in Streator, IL to Charles Wesley and Elsie Marie (Wahl) Shepard.
He married Jamie Easi on November 22, 1991. She survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Alexia Shepard of Streator and Virginia Melton of Valier, 4 grandchildren, brothers, Marvin Shepard, Marshall (Marilyn) Shepard and Richard Shepard all of Streator, sisters, Donna Lowe, Judy Fialko and Nancy Otto all of Streator, Karen (Roger) Baker of MO, Doris Shepard of Streator, Joyce (John) Natt of Cornell and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife, Darlene Calkins, son, Gary, daughter-in-law, Jennifer grandsons, Jordan and Jake Shepard and brother, Walter “Bud†Shepard.
He attended Streator High School and was employed at Owens Illinois Glass for over 44 years.
Memorials may be directed to the family of Gary Shepard.
