Gerri Kay Puckett

Gerri Kay Puckett, 76 of Streator passed away Tuesday morning (December 13^th) at OSF St. James Hospital, Pontiac.

Following cremation a visitation will be held Monday from 4 – 7 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Memorial services will be held Monday at 7 PM at the funeral home.

Gerri was born on August 28, 1940 in Ottawa to William and Marion (Burns) Adams.  She married James Puckett on March 9, 1968.  He passed away on April 5, 2006.

Surviving are sons Jay Puckett of Glen Ellen, Robert Puckett of Streator, Terry (Rebecca Krug) Puckett of Earlville and Daniel Puckett of LaSalle, 2 grandchildren Coltyn and Austin, brother Harry (Lynn) Adams of Las Vegas, sisters Joanne (Lonnie) Beers of Brooksville, FL and Juanita (Frank) Neumann of Streator, In-laws, Richard (Beth) Puckett of Streator, Sharon (Ed) Kohn of Bethel, MO, David (Dana) Puckett of Houston, TX, Mike (Deana) Puckett of Streator, Randy (Michelle) Puckett of N. Carolina and Ronnie Puckett of Streator and several nieces and nephews.

Gerri is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers William and John Adams, sister Sharon Dilley and brother-in-laws, Delbert, Andrew, Wayne, Terry Lee and Mark Allen Puckett and sister-in-law Carol Perry.

She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1958 and was of the catholic faith.  Gerri retired from Chippers Restaurant and was an avid bingo player.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
