Glendean "Jennie" Ashlock

Glendean “Jennie†Ashlock, 94 of Streator passed away Friday morning (Nov. 7th) at St. Mary’s Hospital.
A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-6PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Glendean was born on March 30, 1920 in Olney, IL to Glenn and Lillie (Mowrer) Harrolle.
She married Jay Ashlock on April 23, 1938. He passed away November 9, 2001.
Surviving are children, Leila (Richard) Durdan of Streator, Janene (Bill) Reese of Sherrills Ford, NC, James (Deborah) Ashlock of Streator and Glenda (Robert) Frank of Sparland, IL, 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, sister Betty Burns of Oblong, IL and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Lawrence Dale Ashlock, granddaughter, Debbie Durdan, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Glendean was a member of Central Church of Christ and a member of the Streator V.F.W. Auxiliary,
Memorials may be directed to Central Church of Christ or the charity of the donor’s choice.
