Grace E. McMillin, 92 of Streator passed away Friday afternoon (Jan. 3rd) at Heritage Health.
Visitation will be held Friday from 9 – 11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Chris, Rob and Jason Watson, Ethan and Landon Wessels and Scott Boatman. Honorary will be Jeff Boatman, Luke Slagel, Chris, Paul and Todd Jones, Brandon and Brian Tovar.
Grace was born on December 22, 1921 in Streator to Christian and Mae (Dovin) Olesen. She married Robert Willard McMillin on August 26, 1940 he passed away on February 12, 1969.
Surviving are daughters Sherry Murray of Streator, Linda Boatman of Normal, Cathy (Robin D.) Watson of Streator, 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren, brothers, Ole Olesen of Pingree Grove, IL, Ralph (Bernice) Olesen of Streator, sister Carolyn Mays of Streator.
Grace is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Judy Tovar, grandson Michael Murray, brothers Nels and Jim and sisters Florence LeGare and Anna Dutko.
She attended Streator Grade Schools and was as a cook at several Streator Restaurants and St. Mary’s Hospital.
