Harold L Grant

Harold L. Grant, 81 of Streator passed away Thursday afternoon (November 12^th) at Heritage Health, Streator.

A graveside service will be held Thursday (November 19^th) 11:30 AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Harold was born on August 31, 1934 in Rutland to C.M. and Julia Grant.  He married Doris Mallick on August 11, 1956.  She passed away on April 28, 2011.

Surviving are sisters-in-laws, Theresa Zito of Streator, Carol Wargo of Florida, Betty (Zane) Bixby of Utah, several nieces and nephews including niece Joann Kimes of Streator, and several great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Edward James Grant, sister, Grace Fialko and brother Donald Grant.

Harold attended school in Rutland.  He served in the US Army and was a repairman for Sears and he owned and operated Grant’s Repair Service in Streator.
