Harold W. Holz

Harold Wm. Holz, 77 of Ancona passed away Saturday afternoon (October 6^th) at the Good Samaritan Home, Pontiac.

A visitation will be held Friday from 9 – 11 AM at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM at the church with Rev. Bill Callister officiating.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Don, Donnie, Dusty and Dave Miller, Ken Hamann and Marion Johnson.

The Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Harold was born on January 8, 1941 in Streator to Herbert and Minnie (Kutter) Holz.

Surviving is a son Shane Rhodes of LaSalle, his twin brother Herbert (Helen) Holz of Ancona, sisters, Marge Shaw of Washington and Phyllis Lester of Hartselle, AL and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Leona Fargher and Norma Ott.

Harold graduated from Woodland High School in 1959.  He retired from Owens Illinois Glass and farming and trucking in the Ancona area.  He was a member of the Livingston County Farm Bureau and the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or to a charity of the donors choice.
