Harry M. Geiger, 81 of Streator passed away Friday morning (April 3rd) at St. Josephâs Medical Center, Bloomington.
A visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 â 12Noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery with military honors conducted by members of the Streator American Legion and VFW.
Serving as pallbearers will be Don Long, Dale Long, Fred Baker, Jim Callahan, Howard Hedrick, and John Drappa. Honorary will be Milt Hoskins.
Harry was born on July 16, 1933 in Ransom to Harry and Annalee (Phelps) Geiger. He married Marge Cagley on March 2, 1957 she passed away on October 5, 2013.
Surviving are daughter Julie Geiger of Streator, grandchildren Michelle, Kate and Nick Kmetz, great-granddaughter Mackenzie and cousin, Carneth Phelps of Kentucky.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents and wife.
He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Thatcher Glass and Vactor Mfg. and after retirement he worked for Fred Baker Farms for 12 yrs.
Harry was a life member of the Streator American Legion and a former member of the Marshall County Sportsman Club.
